Biography of Lois Bernard:

Lois Bernard received a Bachelor of Fine Art from Cooper Union in New York City.  While at Cooper Union, she was Student Director of the Saturday Program from 1969 to 1971 and taught photography to high school students.  Although born in New York City, she has spent the last thirty years in Ashville, North Carolina.  A mother of three and for the past twenty years, a practicing Clinical Social Worker, she has continued to maintain her love of photography and the arts, constantly adding to a body of work including portraiture, landscape and photojournalism.
